COURSE OVERVIEW:
A psychosocial hazard is anything that could cause psychological harm (e.g. harm someone’s mental health). Common psychosocial hazards at work include such as: job demands, low job control, lack of support, poor physical environment and violence and aggression, to name a few.

Psychological safety in the workplace is about ensuring that everyone feels comfortable, respected, and able to share their thoughts without fear. It's about creating an environment where people can speak up, ask questions, and contribute their ideas without worrying about negative consequences.

This course is designed to help new employees and individuals in the organization understand the importance of protecting their mental health, of Identifying psychosocial Hazards in the workplace, of effectively managing these psychosocial Hazards, and how to monitor and manage their personal well-being.
